Hawg Flatts rally

Despite the rain, we had a great turnout!
My wife and I went down to set up camp on Thursday. It was a little cloudy but overall a nice an dry day. A lot of folks had already set up camp and more where coming in while we were there.
Rain set in on Friday and continued
on throughout the weekend. This however did not keep anyone away. Barrel races, slalom, burnouts and other activities went on as planned. Everyone cheered when the rain got stronger at times, it was awesome!!
It is great so see so many dedicated people coming every year to Hawg Flatts.. rain or shine, the party is always great!

Sturgis North. this event started on July 13 and ended on July 17, 2011. This looks like a well organized event and am sure well worth going to. I was unable to make it this year but will make sure this one has a place in my calendar for next year! Can't wait to see some images....
